Permanent magnet governor

I. Profile

At present, there are two ways to realize variable speed drive of large-scale rotating machinery. First is prime motor adjustable speed drive, such as DC motor speed control; three-phase asynchronous motor pole-changing control, variable voltage control, variable frequency control; winding rotor motor series-pole control, series-resistance speed control; electromagnetic adjustable speed motor control which are composed of motor, electromagnetic slip clutch and DC excitation source, and other special designed adjustable speed motor. The second is constant speed prime motor with variable speed device to drive, such as adjustable speed fluid coupling, hydro-viscous adjustable speed clutch and so on. There are many kinds of speed control technologies, but the most widely used in the large-scale rotating machinery are three-phase asynchronous motor variable frequency control, winding rotor motor series-pole control and adjustable speed fluid coupling.

A completely new speed control technology is born: winding coil permanent magnetic coupling adjustable speed drive. Our company is the first company in china who devotes to the applied research and development of winding coil permanent magnet adjustable speed drive. Different from the common eddy-current permanent magnet adjustable speed drive in the market ,the integrated structure of winding coil permanent magnet adjustable speed drive is composed by p-m rotor, winding rotor and the control part,and can also be produced to explosion proof structure further,without any requirements of constant speed prime motor ,when PMASD transfers the power of prime motor,slip power will be produced because of slipping speed controlling,the rotor current can be controlled with input a series copper to the adjustable speed device through winding coil rotor,at the time of adjusting the running speed,the slip power will be recycled and utilized to achieve the purpose of adjusting speed 、 high efficiency and energy saving。It thoroughly solves the bottleneck problem of temperature rise of the common eddy-current permanent magnet adjustable speed drive, do not need of water cooling device,and do not need of air gap regulation mechanism which is required in eddy-current permanent magnetic adjustable speed drive.


Ⅱ、Work principle

When there is rate differential between the p-m rotor and the winding rotor, induced electromotive force will appear:

1、Connection of winding forms induction current loop, interaction between electromagnetic field caused by the current in the winding and the original permanent magnetic field transmits torque (the clutch is closed). When winding is disconnected, no induction current in the winding will transmit torque (the clutch is open). There is no mechanical action or no friction and abrasion.

2、By controlling the induction current in the winding, the transmission torque can be controlled to achieve speed control and soft start.

3、The slip power produced in the winding can be back to the supply terminal and be utilized to achieve energy saving and guarantee temperature rise for normal work. For transmission of soft speed control or small power in a short time, it is not necessary for the user to save power, and the slip power can be consumed in the resistance inside of the cabinet.
